2019 marks the 20th anniversary of the Alabama Virtual Library. Since the launch of AVL's first database, AVL has provided an equitable core of information sources for every student and citizen in Alabama, raising the level of excellence in schools and communities across the state.

The September 20th AVL Council meeting will be held at the University of Montevallo: Stewart Retreat Center, 76 College Drive, Montevallo, AL. The Council meeting is scheduled to start at 8:30AM.
