AlabamaMosaic

Libraries, universities, and archives from around Alabama have joined in the effort to digitize their photographs, manuscripts, and other documents so that these priceless historical treasures can be preserved and that everyone may have access to them. As a part of AlabamaMosaic, the Library is digitizing images from a collection of historic Huntsville photographs that are housed in the Library's Archive. hmcpl.org/alabamamosaic

Alabama Virtual Library

The Alabama Virtual Library provides all students, teachers, and citizens of the State of Alabama with online access to essential library and information resources. It is primarily a group of online databases that have magazine, journal, and newspaper articles for research. Through the AVL, an equitable core of information sources are available to every student and citizen in Alabama, raising the level of excellence in schools and communities across the state. hmcpl.org/avl

The Digital Media Zone provides users with access to downloadble books, videos, and music online 24/7! This resource also allows users to checkout and download materials to their computer, burn to a cd, or transfer items to their portable devices. Rocket Languages

Rocket Languages is an interactive online learning system that allows you to learn conversational language at your own pace. Consisting of 11 languages including nine foreign languages, English for Spanish speakers, and American Sign language, the learning modules are downloadable for easy access.
