eBooks
Getting started with eBooks at NetLibrary
First, you will need a current Huntsville-Madison County Public Library card, and a personal email address. If you have those, you can sign up for a free netlibrary.com account at any library branch. You will be given a NetLibrary username and password.
What if I lose my NetLibrary password?
Go to netlibrary.com and request your password to be sent to the email address attached to your NetLibrary account. (The staff of the Huntsville-Madison County Public Library does not have access to NetLibrary passwords.
How do I know it's an eBook?
An eBook listing in the library's online catalog has a call number beginning with EBOOK and is described as an ELECTRONIC BOOK with INTERNET as its location. The record has an electronic access link that takes the user to the NetLibrary website (www.netlibrary.com) where the eBook is stored. There is no limit to how long an eBook can be viewed, but the eBook will time out after fifteen minutes if the user is inactive.
