What's new on the AVL?
Here are three major changes we've made that we think you will enjoy.
- No more AVL cards for home access for MOST users.
We are using a technology called Geolocation that tries to determine if you are located within the state of Alabama. If it recognizes that you are in Alabama, then you are automatically logged in to use the AVL resources. It's that simple!
Mouse over this icon
in the top right corner of the site to see how Geolocation works for you. - Better home pages for each age group.
Check out the home pages for each age group to see for yourself. On these pages we will feature useful resources that we have from our vendors. For example, in February, many students write reports or have projects related to Black History Month. We have a great resource in our Middle School Special Collections section on Black History that we can feature in the month of February.
- Easier access to information about each resource.
Don't miss the new information boxes next to each resource. If you mouse over the
logo you will see information about each resource and links to available tutorials.
